Austin, TX 2018 young Kelly Dunn stumbled into a Verizon with a broken phone, no makeup & a big t-shirt. Due to the broken phone and lack of GPS this was indeed not her closest Verizon & there was definitely a store or two closer South but there she was all the way on North Lamar where she met Tyler Slocum. ❤️ Smooth with his sales tactics he sold Kelly a new phone (& charger/phone case) and crossed out his work number on his business card and wrote out his personal number, he also texted me to make sure my phone was setup okay haha. Their first date was at Buzzmill Coffee House for comedy night and they played pool after next door. They quickly became fond of each other and began dating & seeing each other more and more. Once COVID hit in 2020 they found themselves looking for a house to move In together in which they rented a new build in Austin. The housing market was hot and we knew we needed to jump if we wanted to buy and ended up now in Houston together, Tyler’s first time moving away from his family. Tyler and Kelly have built a life together, started their family with the most perfect baby girl & have now bought 2 houses. Though doing things a bit ‘out of traditional order’ they are thrilled to finally share this big day with their family and friends and make this commitment under God.
