Question

How to park at the venue?

Answer

There is just a little bit of street parking by the venue, but I wouldn’t count on it. There is an offsite parking lot the venue has and will have a trolley running from the parking lot to the venue. The address for the parking lot is 1500 1st Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35203. Plan to arrive 30 minutes (aka around 5pm) prior to the start of the ceremony that is at 5:30pm to have enough time to find the parking lot and get into the venue.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at Amazon, Target, and Zola. If you use the Amazon app you can search for Kelly Slaten and Steven Benton on the registry tab. You also can find our registry from the wedding website thru the registry tab.

Is there a dress code?

The dress code is semi-formal.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see the Travel section of our website for the hotels. Please let Steven or Kelly know if it says there are no more rooms available because we can ask the hotel to add on rooms to the block. Both hotels are within 5-10 minutes walking distance to the venue.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the intimate nature of our ceremony & reception, extra guests will not be permitted. Only those who received an invitation are permitted. We thank you for your understanding.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Since both hotels are within walking distance to the venue no transportation to and from the hotels is provided.
