As of June 30, VA has moved to Phase 3 of its reopening, and so we expect to host the wedding and reception as planned, while keeping with best practices outlined by the Governor's office. An usher will be administering a contactless thermometer check before guests enter the church. Anyone with a temperature over 100.4 will be asked to return to their hotel/accommodations, and tune in to the video stream instead. Masks are required inside the church, and at the reception except when eating. More information about safety at the reception is available on their website: https://www.patowmackfarm.com/ We are making every effort to provide a safe environment for our guests. If you have any concerns or special requests, don't hesitate to reach out!
We are working with the venue's chef to whip up a custom family-style meal for you all. We are aware that there are some dietary restrictions in the family, so at the very least it will be peanut-free!
We would love to have as many people as possible attend our wedding, but the chapel and venue are rather small and won't accommodate huge crowds. We would ask that if you are interested in bringing someone not listed on your RSVP page, please let us know and once we have a firm guest count we can let you know if there's room for them.
Absolutely not! The registry is just a bunch of items marketed at us as a soon-to-be newlyweds that we used as inspiration for things we could use. If you have a gift you'd love to share with us but is not on the registry, go for it! Also, if you find a better price for an item on the registry, just contact Patricia or Kelly (phone numbers listed) so they can mark it as 'purchased'.
