Jimmy "Muffin Man" Girod is a hometown friend of Shan's. They went to middle school, high school, and college together! Jimmy and Shan even roomed together in McCollum at KU (Room 1028!). He is a loyal and caring friend, and remains Shan's best listening ear to this day. Despite being miles away, Jimmy bestows his presence in numerous gaming sessions in a variety of co-op games with Shan and other boys.

Bryan also shared a student IT job at KU with Shan! Bryan is a friend who always took the initiative to reach out and to make time for friendship even with an increasingly busy life. Despite being even more miles away, Bryan bestows his presence in numerous gaming sessions with Shan and other boys.

Zach "Snack Attach Zach" Poskin is a hometown friend of Shan's. While they only crossed paths in middle school, they shared a friend group growing up. Zach is surely one of, if not the smartest friends that Shan has. Their friendship ironically took on a deeper bond during Covid, even while being across the country from one another. Despite being even more miles away, Zach bestows his presence in numerous gaming sessions with Shan and other boys.
