Friday Welcome Party: Casual (nice jeans and shirt, overalls, skirts) Saturday Ceremony & Reception: Dressy Casual (sundresses, nice pants and shirt, jacket & tie not required) *wear shoes for grass and gravel*

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Yes, our wedding will be held outdoors in the open-air "Big Barn" of McDowell Farm School. The reception will be held inside Hall Hall, a beautiful rustic dance hall just a stone's throw down the road. While the reception is a five minute walk away, a shuttle will also be provided. Guests will walk over grass and gravel, so please plan your shoes accordingly!

Where should I park?

Answer

For those staying in a lodge, there is parking right outside. For all others, please follow the signs to the venue and parallel park along Speaks Way.

Can I bring my kids? pets?

Answer

Kids are more than welcome! This is a family-friendly weekend with activities for all ages. There are playgrounds located right by the lodges and dining hall. Unfortunately, there are no pets allowed!

What is the lodging like?

Answer

Lodges have a common space with a fireplace, couches, and kitchen (fridge, stove/oven, coffee maker, sink). Each room has two queen beds and a private bathroom. Linens and towels are provided. There are no alarm clocks, televisions or telephones in the rooms. There is cell phone service, although it can be limited out here in the woods. Strong Wi-Fi is available in all lodges and at the dining hall.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

If you opt in to weekend meals at the dining hall, there are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free (not celiac safe), and dairy free options available. Please indicate any restrictions/allergies on your lodging/meal reservation so we can prepare accordingly!

Is the venue wheelchair-accessible?

Answer

Yes! All lodging, dining, and event areas are wheelchair-accessible.

I'm staying for the whole weekend. What should I pack?

Answer

Here's what you need to have a great time! - outfits for Fri Night (picnic casual) and Sat Night (dressy casual) - all toiletries, shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer (not provided in lodge) - outdoor clothes, close-toed shoes, and bug spray if you want to join for the Farm Tour or Nature Hike - bathing suit, sunscreen, and towel if you plan to visit the pool
