FAQs

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Coivd - 19

Answer

We will be following all recommendations of the CDC and Department of Public Health for the State of Illinois at our wedding and throughout the weekend. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, you are welcome to do so. St. Edmund Church & Drury Lane will not require guests to wear masks.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we are so thankful to have so many family & friends with children, we kindly ask that you do not bring them to the ceremony or reception. Please enjoy the night off & send them our love!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Due to our ceremony & reception locations, we ask that you kindly follow the formal dress code. Men can wear formal suits & women can wear evening gowns, fancy cocktail dresses or dressy jumpsuits.

Question

Is there transportation to & from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Unfortunately we will not have a shuttle to and from the ceremony & reception sites. Please plan accordingly. St. Edmund church has a parking lot located directly behind the church and there is plenty of street parking within the area. Drury Lane also has a large parking lot out front & parking garage just to the east of the venue.
