Antebellum has really friendly staff, a lot of beers on tap, and outdoor seating. It is a great atmosphere. They also have a food truck nearby with some of the best BBQ in the area, so you can knock out two things in one visit. Near but not quite walkable to Edgewise Eight, Shep's, Northside Remedy, and local shops.
They have some great cocktails and a nice ambiance. Some outdoor seating. You can walk around to some other nearby locations on this list (Edgewise Eight, Antebellum) and some local shops. Kelly loved the espresso martini.

Chandor Gardens captures both the ornate design of ancient Chinese architecture and the elegance of a formal English garden. The 3.5-acre estate leads its visitors on a meandering path of beauty and wonderment. Small (much smaller than the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens) but in the Weatherford area.
Lots of great restaurants and bars in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards.
Fall foliage should be in full bloom at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens. If you make the drive out, make sure to stop by the Japanese Garden inside. It is a favorite of ours.
Fort Worth Zoo is home to more than 500 species of animals, has a wide array of indoor and outdoor exhibits.
