Kelly was not easily swayed by Robert's antics, but she doesn’t back down from a dare. A little dare to have a simple conversation with him. And to her surprise, would be the start to the greatest adventure of her life. Robert on the other hand, was all in at the very beginning. Two weeks into the relationship, the words “I love you” were already whispered to Kelly. We couldn’t resist just being together. We spent as much time as we could going on dates or trips. We took every opportunity to learn about each other and it brought us so close, very quickly. We found ourselves interested in pretty much the same things…except scary movies and cowboy boots! But the important subjects, we are always on the same page about. Like the dogs. Josie, Phoebe, and eventually little Jinx were welcomed with open arms and few conditions. Like, no barking in the house and Phoebe needing to control her shedding. We decided early on that we would consistently make an effort to better ourselves each day. Through teamwork and corny jokes, we have been able to become the best versions of ourselves for each other.
