We are getting married!

We met in EMT class. At first I was shy and followed one of our classmates around like a lost puppy so he thought I was taken. Eventually I loosened up... We all went to one of the instructor's house's after class one day and Ricky wanted to be in on an inside joke with my friend so I asked him for his number so I could tell him. After that Ricky started to text me and bribed me to hang out using kittens. I went over to his house, we played with kittens and the rest is history.

We were on a cruise together with a few of our friends. He pulled some strings to get us up in the North Star ride before it got too windy and they shut it down. He handed his phone to an employee and asked them to take a picture, she took a couple of pictures and he asked for just one more and stepped back and got down on one knee. I cried and somehow managed to say yes and we were engaged! None of our friends and family found out for 3 days until we got home.
