SJD - San Jose del Cabo Airport

San Jose del Cabo Airport or SJD is about 1 hour and 45 minutes from Punta Pescadero. We are working with a local shuttle company to provide transportation to and from the airport. See shuttle info below.

Shuttle Information

Due to the inability for transportation to run after dark, in order to make the same day's transport, your flight would need to land by about 3pm at the latest. If your flight arrives later, we would advise you to book a single night somewhere in San Jose del Cabo and we will pick you up the following day. For returning flights, it is not recommended to have a flight that departs before 10:30am. We will be making scheduled trips to and from the airport on April 16 and April 17. And return trips on April 21 and April 22. You may need to wait a bit as we will try to group people into groups of about 11 per ride, but don't worry there is a bar outside the airport! The shuttle will be at no charge for you, however gratuity for the drivers is appreciated. Once you have booked your flight, please email kelly@blueridgewinetours.com with your flight information. Kelly will send you your shuttle pick up time and the contact info for your "shuttle captain' prior to departure. If you need help finding transportation on a different day, let us know and we can refer you to a reputable shuttle service.

Hotel Punta Pescadero Paradise

Every room overlooks the Sea of Cortez in this cute, tiny little resort with only 21 total rooms. As of 1/5/2024, this is currently sold out. If you have not yet booked, please let us know and we can let you know about other options.

This is a 6 bedroom home in Punta Pescadero where some of our dear friends and guests have rented and some activities will take place here. It is a 7 minute walk from the hotel.

Casa Alvarado

This is the home where Rich and Kelly are staying. The welcome party and wedding ceremony will take place here. There is some limited shared bedroom (queen beds) space in the casitas. If you are interested, let us know!

McGann Estate

We have rented this home for the wedding day only. It will be the location of the reception and is approximately an 8 minute walk from the ceremony site in front of Casa Alvarado. We will also be running a shuttle for those who prefer not to walk.

We are providing all airport transportation for those flying in before 3pm on April 16 and 17 and departing after 10:30am on April 21 and April 22, but if you are looking for transportation outside of shuttle schedules or are looking for a day trip, these guys are affordable and reliable!

If you want to book your own car rental, we highly recommend Cactus Car Rental. But, everything is walkable in Punta Pescadero. So a car is not necessary.
