Maid of Honor
Caitlin, AKA Smooch, is my little sister. I was in first grade when she was born and remember shaking her crib so that I could hold her when I get home from school. She's more than my sister, she's my best friend and I'm so happy to have her stand by my side as my maid of honor.
Bridesmaid
I'm lucky to call Shannon my sister-in-law. Shannon is someone who is always willing to help and has made the entire wedding process so special for me and Peter. I'm beyond grateful to have her in my life and so proud of all her accomplishments this year.
Bridesmaid
Tina and I are the oldest cousins and let's just say we did everything together as children- most importantly Disney on ice and the circus. Tina has been a great role model for me and so proud of the family she's created. I can always count on Tina to make me laugh till I cry and be there when I need her.
Bridesmaid
My Jen Jen, AKA Stinky, is one the sweetest humans you will meet. Jenny and I met at DePaul and have been friends since our first week on campus. We lived together for three years and I still remember balling when she told me she was leaving to study abroad in Europe. I'm so grateful for all our years of friendship and excited for this next chapter of our lives.
Bridesmaid
Eve and I met Junior year of college. Our then boyfriends were in a band together and though the relationships didn't last, I found one of my best friends. Eve is my soul sister and is great at getting me to think outside the box. I was so proud of her when she moved to California, to chase a dream, and love all my visits to the West coast. I get to bring her back to Chitown to celebrate our special day!
Bridesmaid
Kristen is my new sister-in-law! She's been so welcoming and kind since the moment I met her and can finally have an older sister! I look up to Kristen for a variety of reasons and hope to be a supermom like her one day. I cherish all the times you, me, Drew and Peter have gone to shows, dinners, family outings. You always put a smile on my face and can't wait to build future memories.
Bridesmaid
Mary- my snack attack queen- is one of the most genuine people I know. Mary is dating Peter's brother, Mark, and I've become so close to her throughout the last three years. Mary has such a warm heart and I'm so lucky to have a friend like her stand by my side on this special day.
Jr. Bridesmaid
Noelle is my adorable younger cousin. It's been such a treat watching her grow up to be such a beautiful young lady. I had the special privilege of being her Confirmation sponsor, which meant the world to me, and will always love our chats and special talks together. I'm beyond grateful to have you stand by my side.
Jr. Bridesmaid
Olivia is my cutepie younger cousin. I babysat her during my summers at DePaul and still cannot believe she is now in high school. I have so many fond memories walking her to the park as a toddler and having her take naps on my shoulder. I stood up in my Aunt Kathy's wedding, Olivia's mom, so it's very special to now have Olivia walk down the aisle with me.
Flower Girl
Hazel is my future niece- how lucky am I? Hazel, Peter and I are all born one day apart, so she's my little Scorpio buddy. I remember visiting her at the hospital on my birthday, which is a moment I'll always remember. She's growing up way too fast, but it's been amazing to see her turn into a beautiful & smart little girl. She will steal the show at the wedding, so watch out!
Co-Best Man
As the middle man of 3 boys, older brother Andrew was an undeniable influence to my early years... but it was our return to Chicago in 2005 that reaffirmed our sense of home and strong bond. Drew now father's 3 kids of his own, he continues to inspire to what a family-man is, while reliving his youth vicariously through me. One of the most dependable and responsible guys I know, delighted to have this man in my life.
Co-Best Man
Little brothers are never easy, but Markus is a winner. I like to think he looked up to me (not just for booze in high-school), as we unexpectedly moved to Jersey in 03. Our time attending concerts are unforgettable. He lead a Rock-band of his own, and currently stars in a Gaelic Men's Football team; this guy has an amazing circuit of friends in Cincinnati and beyond; it's been a joy seeing this youngster blossom.
Groomsman
If you can't pick up on this man's energy, you might be blind. PJ and I grew up in Glenview, and became best buds on the very first day of College after passing each other on the streets of DePaul University. The room gets a bit brighter when he enters it, and we connect on all things imaginable. One of the more Spiritual beings on this planet... PJ in motivating and compassionate, and has been there through it all. Be sure to say Hello.
Groomsman
Kelly's only brother, I first met Pauly over dinner in Old Town before going to Christmas in America's® 4th annual Holiday Party. Even wearing a sparkling, terrible, blue sweater & sweats... Pauly embraced me warmly as someone important to Kelly. Genuine and dependable, I look forward to many more countless experiences with this man.
Groomsman
Cannon-balls in Pat's pool during 5th period lunch senior year in New Jersey is when our friendship took form. A lot alike, the man's a gamer, competitive, clever, and a lover of art & music... Patrick brought me to my first Phish show; Dylan and Young are our heroes, and we can never seem to quench our thirst for the next jam that grooves and slaps.
Groomsman
Met Mike at 16 on my first day of high school in Jersey, on matching stools in Ceramics class building giant mushrooms and Gangster/Rasta men.... living conveniently right down the street, our adventures grew. A man of high charisma, unmatched exploration, and positive energy, our minds linked up quickly -- from travel to queso dip, a reliable guy to the end.
Groomsman
AKA, DatLat. Second grade travel-soccer deemed us young all-stars, an early best friend fused ping-pong, kung-fu films, and Classic Rock (We saw Clapton, Petty and Jethro Tull in a single week in 2001... though his musical taste has gone a bit digital). A robust Chicago native, we've rarely missed a beat in the 20+ years we've known each other.
Ring Bearer
Last but not least, Coop-Dog. My Godson. Cooper will be sporting something super fly on the big day -- this guy is brilliant, lovable, and growing every minute at the ripe age of 4. He's earned the Rock-Paper-Scissors Champion of the World... and has genetically gravitated towards my hair-swoop.
Flower Child
Ashtin is the son of my cousin Tina and her husband Ashish. I'm so excited to have him walk down the aisle with Hazel- they've now become BFF's. Ashtin is growing way too fast, but it's been amazing watching him turn into a little man. Love him so much and can't wait to see him in a tux! xoxo
