FAQs

Question

Will guests be required to be vaccinated against COVID to attend?

Answer

To best keep our guests and loved ones safe, we will require proof of COVID vaccination in order to attend our wedding. Please utilize the link on our Travel page under COVID safety to upload proof of your vaccine, if applicable. Thank you!

Question

Is the wedding on a Friday?

Answer

Yes it is! We are excited to be able to share our wedding with everyone Friday night and hopefully enjoy hanging out and catching up with friends and family the rest of the weekend as you enjoy beautiful fall in Colorado!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is only street parking available at the venue and while there may be a few spots directly next to our spot, it'll be a Friday in downtown Denver which can be unpredictable. We'd recommend everyone to try and use Lyft/Uber to not have to worry about feeding the meter and have a worry free time participating in our open bar!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations or a block of hotel rooms set aside?

Answer

The wedding venue is about 1-2 miles from a large cluster of downtown hotels. We didn't want to limit anyone to using a specific hotel option so feel free to pick your favorite spot or explore Airbnb as an option. Nick and I are happy to provide recommendations if you're having a hard time choosing.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want people to be comfortable and definitely be sure to check the weather because it's October in Colorado which means it could be 90 degrees or snowing, anything goes! That being said.... For the ladies: heels, wedges, flats are all suitable for the flooring at Skylight. Cocktail dresses, sun dresses, jumpsuits... all great! For the gentlemen: No tux needed unless you are feeling the vibe. Dress attire will be fine. A pair of khakis and a dress shirt is also a great option.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Yes, we'd love to have your kiddos join if you'd like!

Question

Is the ceremony/reception outside?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be inside but we will be having cocktail hour outside in the courtyard of the venue (weather permitting). That being said, it's Colorado in October and it could be 90 degrees or snowing, so check the weather and bring a sweater if needed for cocktail hour.

Question

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

We'll be able to accommodate vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, and gluten free for dinner. If you would like to double check with us on your food options, please let us know.
