Michael and Kelly met 8 years ago in a bar in Boston through friends of friends (thanks Nate and Dan!). They quickly fell in love and grew closer and closer over the next year. Soon they both felt stir crazy in Boston so they decided to embark on an adventure and moved to Chicago together where they met the most amazing friends and explored Chitown. After a couple of years they decided to move to New York to be closer to family and for access to better job prospects. It's in New York that Mike graduated law school and passed the bar and Kelly taught herself graphic design and changed careers. Last October after both of their careers settled down they decided to finally tie the knot and got engaged at Chelsea Piers.
The Christmas Tree Inn (where the wedding is being held) has been in Kelly's family for about 50 years now. Back in the 1970's Kelly's Grandfather and Great Uncle saw the potential in the run down inn (built in the 1930’s) and convinced their wives to let them buy it. Half a century later the property is still family run (not as an inn but as a rental property) and carries many beautiful traditions and memories.
We love all the kiddos in our lives but we are mostly keeping the wedding children free. We thank you for understanding.
We love our furry friends but we ask that they do not attend the wedding.
