Mike and I first met on September 3, 2022, after I joined eHarmony hoping to find someone to share my life with. Never expecting that I’d find myself getting married just 4 years later! I knew there was something special about him from the very start. And he felt the same about me. We literally ran into each others arms after first making eye contact. Our first date lasted 72 hours. Mike is not only my fiancé, but he is my best friend, partner, confidante and soulmate. Early on, Mike told me, “Hold on baby for the ride of your life, you ain't seen nothing yet!" He could not have been more right. Since then, we've created unforgettable memories together while experiencing incredible adventures. Our journey has included hiking in San Diego and Sedona, zip lining in Colorado and Georgia, sightseeing in Portugal and Costa Rica, skiing in Wisconsin, chilling on the beaches of Hilton Head and so much more. One of my favorite memories was running my first half marathon while at the same time cheering Mike on as he crossed the finish line to complete his 20th marathon in Indianapolis! We are always finding new ways to enjoy life side by side. We are always putting the other first and Mike takes wonderful care of me while I am drawn to do the same for him. I am happiest when I am taking care of the people I love, especially our families, and together we have built a relationship full of laughter, energy, love, and so much joy. One of the most precious moments in my life came on Good Friday in 2025 when Jerva proposed in Hilton Head. What really made the proposal so special is that all of our kids were there to witness the moment and celebrate with us. One of the greatest blessings of our relationship has been bringing our families together. Each of our kids have added so much personality, excitement, laughter, and love to our lives, and we could not imagine this journey without them. Mike, thank you for loving me so fully and for making every day feel exciting, meaningful, and fun. We are truly meant for each other. Everyday an adventure awaits and there is so much laughter. I cannot wait to fall asleep beside you each night and wake up next to you every morning for the rest of our lives. We are incredibly blessed to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by our children, and loved ones. We appreciate all the patience, encouragement and love that we have received from you all throughout our journey.
