Answer

Yes. The resort and tourist areas are operating normally with enhanced security in place, and local authorities have lifted the highest alert level. Yes, we are having the wedding! All events are moving forward as scheduled. If anything changes, we’ll communicate directly with guests.

We recommend relying on official updates rather than social media and allowing time for conditions to stabilize. Please note cancellations may result in penalties per resort policies.

What should I know about the resort?

Secrets Vallarta Bay is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort located on Banderas Bay, offering an upscale and relaxing atmosphere. You’ll enjoy: Unlimited-Luxury®: Gourmet dining, top-shelf drinks, Wi Fi, live entertainment, beach and pool service, and 24-hour room & concierge services—all included. Dining: Seven on-site restaurants and bars. Plus, access to six more restaurants and two bars at Dreams Vallarta Bay next door. Rooms: 271 spacious suites with ocean or garden views, marble floors, full bathrooms, balconies (some with swim out access), mini bars, and comfortable bedding.

In early March, Puerto Vallarta enjoys some of the most pleasant weather of the year which is ideal for beach days, sightseeing, or water adventures: Temperature Daytime highs hover around 82–83 °F Nighttime lows drop to a comfortable 65–67 °F Sunshine Expect 9–14 hours of sun per day, with March being one of the clearest months Rain Rainfall is minimal—typically just ~0.3–0.5 inches spread across 1 rainy day for the whole month Humidity Humidity is moderate, around 55–65 %, making the warmth feel balanced

Are there any planned excursions?

Kelly and Matt would like to invite everyone staying an extra day to join them on a private yacht on Tuesday, March 10th. We will depart from the resort at 10:15 a.m. so we can leave the marina by 11:00 a.m. Transportation from the hotel lobby to the marina will be arranged.
