WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

For those who don’t know our story, let me take you back to the beginning. Many years ago, Matt and I met during our freshman year (2013) at the University of Pittsburgh, living in Sutherland Hall. We’d cross paths often, occasionally sharing a class or two, but at the time, we were nothing more than friends. Little did I know, Matt had been telling my teammates he had a crush on me. Looking back, it all makes sense—the way he went out of his way to help me in the dining hall while I was on crutches after my ACL surgery or how he always offered me his NyQuil whenever I was sick. It wasn’t until the fall of our sophomore year that our love story truly began. He made it more obvious that he had a crush on me, and, to be honest, I "thought" I didn’t feel the same way. But he was VERY persistent, incredibly charming, and, deep down, I knew he was something special. With a little help from our teammates—and maybe a touch of fate—we found our forever person, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Over the past 10 years, we’ve experienced all the highs and lows life has to offer. From long-distance and grad school to professional baseball, career changes, and everything in between, our relationship has been tested in ways we never expected. But through it all, we’ve only grown stronger, and I wouldn’t trade a single moment (maybe just getting engaged a little sooner LOL). We’re overjoyed to finally be getting married and can’t wait to celebrate this special day with all of you! Your love and support throughout our journey means the world to us, and we’re so grateful for each and every one of you. Now, put on your dancing shoes and get ready to party! See you on Dec. 6th!
