What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would please ask people RSVP no later than April 1st.

Question

What is the easiest way to get to and from your venue?

Answer

The easiest and most direct route is to take Route 9 North if you live in Westchester or below Poughkeepsie. For those out of state such as NJ we recommend I-87 and taking the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge across and then the exit to Route 9 North. For any family coming from north we suggest I-87 South and crossing the Mid-Hudson Bridge and then taking Route 9 South.

Will there be a shuttle to and from hotels?

Answer

There will not be a shuttle to the hotel because it is right next door! The parking lot for Locust Grove and Courtyard Marriott are within a 5 minute walking distance from each other. However if you were to book with Holiday Inn it would be a 2 minute drive north up Route 9.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

We ask our guests to please dress Semi-Formal. No jeans, athletic wear, shorts, t-shirts, baseball caps, or any other attire you wouldn't want someone to wear to your wedding.

Are plus-ones and children allowed?

Answer

We ask that only those whose names are written on their invitations RSVP. If you were given a plus one the invitation will include an option to include someone. Our wedding will be a childfree wedding, so please make babysitting arrangements in advance.

Is it okay to post photos of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Our ceremony will be an unplugged ceremony and to please refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. For our reception we are happy to encourage our guests to take photos/media to record the night and post on their socials if they like.

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Answer

We ask you to RSVP by mailing in the RSVP card sent with your invitation.

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Our venue's address is 2683 South Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. You can use this to view the location in Google Maps. Once you arrive, you'll see signage directing you to the back where the ceremony will take place. There are no stairs however the ceremony will be taking place on a lawn so please wear footwear accordingly.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

For guests within driving distance of the venue, there is free on-site parking.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 5 PM. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space .
