What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The Harlingen-Valley International Airport (HRL) is the closest major airport (40-50 min. to SPI) The Brownsville/South Padre Island International Airport (BRO) is slightly farther (45-60 min) but an excellent alternative.

How do we get from the airport to the island?

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a room block at the Best western Inn, info located under the Travel Tab. We also highly recommend booking accommodations through Airbnb or VRBO, particularly condos located near the venue at 4800 Gulf Blvd. (cross street: Constellation). Maria and Kelly are happy to assist you with recommendations as you make your arrangements. If you choose to stay elsewhere on the island, Uber and taxi services are readily available for transportation. The Best Western Beach Inn is also within walking distance of the venue.

What should I wear?

Answer

This is a summer beach celebration! Think bright Mexican-inspired colors, florals, and breezy fabrics. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors in a Texas summer, so we encourage lightweight, comfortable attire—flowy dresses, linen shirts, and sandals are welcome. Dress to stay cool and celebrate in color!
