Kelly and Luke met at approximately 1:00 am on January 1, 2016 in Jackson, Wy. Despite meeting halfway across the country, they both called New England home. After a two year stint in Southern California, they landed back in Vermont in 2021. It was in Vermont that Luke popped the question. As an ode to their relationship's ski town roots, he courageously presented Kelly with a ring on chair 95 of the Vista Quad at Bolton Valley Resort. Not only did he choose a day that was warm enough for Kelly to take her hand out of her mitten, but he managed to slip the ring on Kelly's finger while 30 feet in the air without dropping it.
