If you are flying in, I recommend going to the Portland Airport (PDX) as we are about an hour from there. Though Dayton does not have much to offer for accommodations, the neighboring cities of Salem, McMinnville and Newberg do! This is a big area for wineries and Oregon is known for their pinot grapes, so their might be a lot of AirBnbs and hotels/inns nearby. You could also take advantage of the opportunity and go check out some wineries! The possibilities are endless.
