There are countless hikes in Breckenridge and the surrounding towns. A few to be enjoyed include: Mayflower Lake and Mohawk Lakes- Hard 7.3miles, Busy Peaks Trail- Hard 8miles one way, the trail connects Frisco and Breckenridge and Buses can be used to get back to your car. Breckenridge to Frisco is the downhill route. Lower Crystal Lake- Hard 4.8miles Mayflower Gulch Grand Traverse- Moderate 6.5miles McCullough Gulch Waterfall Trail- Moderate 3.7miles Black Powder Pass Summit- Moderate 3.5miles Upper Blue Lakes Reservoir via Blue Lakes Trail- Easy 2miles
Alpine Slides, Gem Painting, Zip Lines, Mountain Biking and more. These are the summer activities offered at the ski resort. Parking is available in town for a price and there is a free gondola ride that transports you to the base of the resort. Free day time parking is available at the Ice Arena(walk) and McCain Dr Lot(shuttle) to downtown Breckenridge.
Isak Heartstone is the name of the Breckenridge Troll created by Danish artist Thomas Dambo. Isak is one of many trolls created by Thomas around the world. He is located a short walk from the Ice Arena and Carpenter Park. This is a free activity and the short walk makes it great for young kids and older adults.
The Frisco Adventure Park offers a free amenities including a bike park, skate park, and Disc Golf. You must rent your own equipment elsewhere, with the exception of Discs which can be purchased onsite. Chuck Wagon Rides and Camping are available for a fee.
