What should I wear?

Answer

Even in September it will be hot in North Carolina so, wear whatever you’re comfortable in!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

You can start arriving at 5:00pm, the ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We do! The Islander Inn has rooms blocked for the Johnson/Evans wedding until August 23rd, 2021 at a 10% discount. Please refer to our travel page for details!

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The reception is wheelchair accessible, the ceremony is not. There is no ramp to get down to the beach from the venue. However, the pool deck is accessible for wheelchairs and directly overlooks where the ceremony will take place so we can still have everyone join!

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can make sure our venue accommodates you!

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar starting at 6:00pm. Your dinner options are chicken and steak, or a little of both!

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is August 1st, 2021. You can RSVP by mail or online. I prefer online, if able, as it is easier to track!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
