FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We know this is coming together quickly, and we can't thank you enough for making the time to celebrate with us! If you're planning to attend, we'd really appreciate your RSVP as soon as possible, and no later than July 27, 2025.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

2:45PM. Please have a screenshot or quickly be able to pull up your signed waiver to show staff before riding the lift.

Question

What is Mountain Chic?

Answer

Our celebration will take place in the beautiful Colorado mountains, where the setting is stunning—and the weather can be unpredictable! We kindly ask that guests dress nicely (as you all do) but with comfort in mind. That means outfits that feel a little elevated (like cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, blazers, or polished separates), but still practical for an outdoor setting. The ceremony and reception will be held on natural terrain, so we recommend sturdy shoes—block heels, dressy boots, or nice flats over stilettos or thin heels. While the afternoons can be warm, mountain evenings cool off quickly, so don’t forget to bring a layer like a sweater, jacket, or wrap. Think: dressed up, but ready to enjoy the outdoors comfortably.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! We’ll be serving a buffet with plenty of options to hopefully satisfy everyone. We’ll share the full menu soon; but in the meantime, please let us know with your RSVP if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, and we’ll make sure there’s plenty for you to enjoy.

Question

Is there transportation after the reception?

Answer

YES! However, if you need, you can park in the Base Lodge parking lot, which is also where you’ll catch the lift up to the ceremony and where the reception and afterparty will take place. For those staying anywhere on the resort, we’ll be providing a shuttle service to take you back to your accommodations after the celebration. We hope everyone will stay on-site to fully enjoy the evening, and don’t worry—you’re welcome to leave your car overnight. If you're staying anywhere that says “Basecamp” on your reservation, you’ll be able to easily walk to and from the lift and reception/afterparty site.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We’re excited to celebrate with you all, but we’ve decided to make this a special adult-only evening and we hope you’ll see this as an opportunity to enjoy a night off and celebrate with us! That said, we would love for you to bring your families and make this a fun family getaway. There are so many activities for both kids and adults around the resort and in the area, so it’s a perfect chance to relax, explore, and enjoy some quality time together while you’re here! If you’re in need of babysitting, we have a list of local sitters available to help, so feel free to reach out.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you and truly appreciate your love and support. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. If you feel compelled, we kindly request that you consider making a donation instead of bringing a gift. If you’d like to support a charity that is close to our hearts, we’d be honored if you’d consider donating to one of the following: Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation – A cause that has made a difference in Kelly's sister, Melissa's life. https://teamchallenge.crohnscolitisfoundation.org/participant/TeamDejaPoo Lifeline Puppy Rescue – Where Kelly adopted her previous dog, Finn. As well as where Kelly and Jon found their current pup, Ryder. https://www.lifelinepuppy.org/how-you-can-help/donate.html Of course, any donation, big or small, will be deeply appreciated and will go a long way in supporting these important causes. Thank you so much for considering this heartfelt gesture. You can find clickable links on the invitation.
