He knew it was forever before she did, 7 years later- she agreed. Kelly and John, along some of their best friends and the Waldeck sisters in tow, all headed out to Breckenridge for opening weekend to celebrate Kelly's BIG 3-0. The couple spent a magical Saturday morning drinking coffee in bed, watching the snow fall, and talking about how lucky they are. It was a beautiful weekend with some of their favorite people. John began to ramble (as he tends to do) about what was next for the young love birds; marriage, a house, T-ball practice, and life's future adventures. He proceeded to ask, "Why don't we just get married this weekend?" A perfectly tee'd up question for Kelly's reply, "But we don't have rings..." John reached into his pocket, dropped to a knee, and said "I got one."
