We met the modern way- on Hinge- where we were both just hoping to find someone who could hold a decent conversation. Lucky for us, we found each other. Our first date was at a cozy Mexican restaurant. It wasn’t flashy, but the food was good and the conversation just… clicked. It didn’t feel like a first date- more like catching up with someone we already knew. We saw each other two more times that same week, because why not? When it feels right, it feels right. By October 29, 2023, we called it: we were in this. No more dating apps. No more “seeing where this goes.” We knew. From there it was a lot of- laughter, learning each other’s quirks, sharing late-night snacks and inside jokes, and realizing more and more that this was it. Then on September 23, 2025, at home- in the most “us” way possible- he proposed. No big productions, no audience. Just love… and Stanley, our dog, trotting over with the ring. (Yes, he was the real MVP of the moment.) Now we’re here, planning the rest of our lives together- still laughing, still ordering too much takeout, still spoiling Stanley, and still so glad we swiped right!
