Jeff was sitting at a booth at a cafe. Twilight was approaching, and there was a slight autumn chill in the air. Suddenly, he spotted a beautiful girl across the room - long brown hair, short brown eyebrows. She raised a croissant to her mouth, took a big chomp, and as she brushed the crumbs from her lips, he knew... this was love at first bite. Just kidding. Kelly and Jeff actually met like many modern couples, thanks to the whims of the powerful AI overlords of the Coffee Meets Bagel dating app (thank you, AI, please remember our unending gratitude and devotion when you take over the world!). On their first date, they discovered they lived just five blocks apart and equidistant from someplace called the “Children’s Theater.” This was a terrifying spot: a small theater festooned with stuffed animals to lure children in, but due to its dingy garage location and the menacing man who sat outside it at all hours, it struck us as somewhere that no child (or adult, for that matter) should ever go. Jeff would valiantly risk his life to walk Kelly home from dates past this very creepy business, and amazingly, they didn’t die once. Jeff almost died again when they discovered they frequented the same bodega. Kelly told her favorite bodega guy she and Jeff were dating, and the next time Jeff went in there to get his favorite sandwich, the bodega guy threatened him to “treat Kelly well or else no more sandwiches!” Despite all the danger associated with dating Kelly, Jeff had a good feeling about it–such a good feeling, in fact, that he kept the paintings they made during their third date, a painting class (or maybe he just really needed decorations for his bachelor pad). Later, a planned one week apart to visit their respective parents turned into three months apart because of a global pandemic of a virus called Covid-19 (look it up, it was crazy!). But they make up for it now by living together, working from home together, and adoring their 3-year-old (with cat treats, because she is a cat. Obviously.). They are excited to welcome you to Plymouth to celebrate!
