Welcome to Nags Head in NC's Outer Banks (OBX). We love this beach town! Kelly spent many of her childhood summers in Nags Head and even lived there during her 8th grade year. Jason and Kelly visit the OBX often as Kelly's parents live nearby in Manteo. Check out some of our favorite places during your stay!

Jockey's Ridge State Park

Go for a walk/hike up the sand dunes at Jockey's Ridge for a fun outside activity.

Jennette's Pier

7223 South Virginia Dare Trail, Nags Head, NC 27959

Beautiful pier with free parking, beach access, and public restrooms. We love walking down the pier to see what the locals are catching and enjoy the ocean views.

Fish Heads Bar & Grill

8901 South Old Oregon Inlet Road, Nags Head, NC 27959

This is our favorite beachfront bar! Great ocean views and laid-back beach vibes. Let us know if you spot the Count Junkula koozie on the ceiling.

Downtown Manteo

107 Budleigh St, Manteo, NC 27954

We love walking around downtown Manteo to grab coffee or shop. There's a scenic walk along the waterfront dock. This is a 10 min drive from Nags Head.

Surfin' Spoon Frozen Yogurt Bar

3408 South Virginia Dare Trail, Nags Head, NC 27959

Amazing fro-yo! One thing you’ll notice as soon as you walk in are dollar bills and coins stuck in the ceiling and walls. This money is donated to a local organization, Surfing For Autism.

17th Street Surf Shop

1007 South Croatan Highway, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948

A fave OBX surf shop - lots of beach wear and surf brands.

Outlets Nags Head

7100 South Croatan Highway, Nags Head, NC 27959

This is a good spot for shopping! The outlet stores are here in Nags Head and next to the Albemarle Sound. Lots of great brands.
