We're married – now, let's celebrate!

While we were Hope College students, we both loved staying busy and involved all around campus. We met the fall semester of our junior year in the Student Life office. It's actually quite surprising we hadn't met before then since we had lots of mutual friends! We happened to sit at the same table that afternoon and a quick introduction turned into a three-hour conversation and a friendship. A few months went by and we grabbed lunch to catch up. That weekend we got slushies and drove to Kollen Park where we sat chatting for hours, just like when we first met. Kelly made the move and asked if there was something here. Needless to say, we had our first date at Mizu Sushi on May 2, 2018, and we've been having a blast together since! It is incredible to see God's handiwork throughout our relationship. We feel so blessed and know God created us to be together. Each day we learn more about each other. We're excited to grow together and take on this crazy thing called life as husband and wife! - Kelly & Jarod
