Kailey and I met my senior year of high school at Holy Cross Catholic School. Kailey was always the type of friend who confidently knew where she stood, what she wanted, and didn't get mixed up in the drama. We were lucky enough to reconnect when we both happened to move to Colorado at the same time. In hindsight, it had to be fate. I can’t imagine my life in Colorado without her. Kailey works hard to be the kind of friend who would give you the shirt off her back, if it meant it would make your day even just a little brighter. She helped me through hardships more times than I can count. I have had the most fun experiencing Colorado together.

McKinzie Valentine

McKinzie is our honored matchmaker! She and I met through the dog sitting app “Rover”. She helped me through a tough time when I was traveling a lot to see my mom. At the same time, I was also dealing with a very sick dog. I always knew she could handle Midnight’s special brand of crazy. A strong friendship blossomed from this. She introduced me to Jake, as well as our beloved second dog Ghost. It’s been inspiring watching her and Dominic grow as business owners.

Adena and I met in Dental Hygiene School at Utah College of Dental Hygiene. Words cannot express how much we needed each other to endure that era of our lives. So many years of laughs and good times have come from it. She and her family are so welcoming and full of love. She is also the reason I fell in love with Colorado, and hold Grand Junction in a special place in my heart. I’ve been honored to watch her grow as hygienist, a friend, and a mother.

Jordin Bingham

Jordin is my older sister. She’s endured my high and lows, and still has loved me through it all. She has always had my back. She is, not only, my best friend in life, but has been fulfilling a role that I needed after our mom passed away. I know I can always turn to her if I need anything. I can’t possibly understand how she balances it all as a mom of four. She has a beautiful family and works hard every day for them. Jordin always inspired me when I was younger, as I attended lots of cheer competitions and practices. I watched her accomplish the most daring stunts and tumbling routines. She shines with confidence everywhere she goes. Naturally, as little sister, I aspire to be just like her: Fearless, hard working, and beautifully confident.

Rachel is my sister-in-law. I can still remember when I met her and we went to a paint party with my brother. I had the most fun and felt like I was part of the crew. We were instant friends. We share the same taste in music and memes that keep us laughing. Rachel is an amazing mother to my three nieces and handles their crazy lives when Wade is deployed. She is a talented dancer, and it’s inspiring to watch her pursue her passion through motherhood.
