My younger sister Abby and I are both close in age (16 months) and close friends. We spent our childhood summers laughing and swimming at our parents' lake cabin. Now married with three kids and teaching in our hometown, I'm jealous she still gets to spend summers there.

My best friend and roommate for 7 years. We went to high school and college together. Get 1 beer in her and she'll sign up for any marathon. And she's a brand new mommy to Fredrick, born February 3rd with her husband Matt!

My older brother Josh is king at movie trivia. Seriously, we have a movie trivia card game and when we play it's Josh vs the rest of the family - he still wins. He and his wife, Molly, live in Rogers with three kids.

My youngest sibling, Steven, lives with his wife Rachel and 5 kids down in Omaha while he finishes up his last year of surgical residency. They'll be moving to Rapid City when he's done so he can specialize in colorectal surgery... he's real smart and the best dad around!

Whenever my oldest brother Chad is around we're always playing board games. And most everyone knows how much I love board games. Along with Margo and David (8), he is living the sunny good life down in Vegas. I'm always looking forward to my next visit.

Randy and I have been best friends since Elementary. We both went to college at Concordia and we both moved down to Minneapolis for grad school, living together for many of those wild and, on occasion, studious years. Randy, his wife Margo, and daughter Augusta, recently welcomed their second daughter, Thora, into this world.

Danika and I were best buds in high school and when she moved back to MN after living in WA and CO it's like we never skipped a beat. She's a 100% badass woman saving lives everyday as an ER doctor at Hennepin County Medical Center.

Rita is always up for a margarita and day by the pool. We met on the college ski team but are now sunshine travel buddies chasing warm temps whenever we can. She's an inspiration for starting her own business in physical therapy!

Grant's cousin Amy and her husband Dave were the first family members Kelly met. We've shared many laughs together since. Some of Kelly & Grant's favorite nights together are the monthly family game nights with this side of the family.

The answer is always "yes" if you ask Anna to go on a trip. She an her husband Tom just finished skiing across the country of Finland! We met on the college ski team and now peer pressure each other to doing crazy fun things like running 50 mile races or rappelling down cliffs in Joshua Tree.
