On your drive to Stowe, you might pass by Cold Hollow Cider Mill. Just a few minutes off Main Street, it's a must for their fresh cider donuts, free refreshing samples of their apple cider, plus maple syrup and other Vermont-y goods.

On your drive to Stowe, you might pass by Cabot Farmer's Store. Just a few minutes off Main Street, you can enjoy UNLIMITED free samples of their many cheeses. We used to take full advantage of this on our way back to UVM after snowboarding at Stowe.
