We met during Geoffrey's last semester at A&M and Kelly's first semester at A&M. By a stroke of luck (and maybe a little fate), it wasn’t during Geoffrey’s time in the Corps of Cadets—or this love story might have had a different ending! From our very first date, we both felt something different, something special. College was filled with simple joys, like spontaneous trips to Buc-ee’s. On one of those nights, under a Texas sky, we saw a bright shooting star. What we didn’t realize at the time was that both of us, in that exact moment, quietly made the same wish—we knew we had found the person we were going to marry. Three years later, that wish came true when we got engaged. And on that day, we shared the story of the shooting star—and discovered that night had meant the very same thing to us both all along.
