H2O Sports offers a range of water activities and rentals, including parasailing, jet ski, kayak and paddleboards. They are located in Harbour Town for easy convenience.
Outside Hilton Head
Outside Hilton Head offers a range of outdoor excursions and activities, including kayaking, sailing, dolphin watching, boating and nature tours.
City of Savannah
Savannah is a famous city known for its history and Southern charm. This popular tourist attraction is about an hour drive from Hilton Head and makes for an excellent day trip. The trolley tours (https://www.trolleytours.com/savannah) are a great way to get a feel for the city in a short amount of time.
Salty Dog Happy Hour Cruise
Enjoy the sunset, drinks and natural beauty of the Low Country on this fun booze cruise. If you're lucky, you might encounter some dolphins too.
Harbour Town Golf Links
The most famous golf course on the island and one of the top courses in the US. Make sure to book your tee time well in advance because they fill up quickly. Please note a forecaddie is required on this course. | $$$$
Robert Trent Jones Oceanfront Golf Course
Beautiful course with the most picturesque oceanfront hole on the island. Make sure to book your tee time well in advance because they fill up quickly. | $$$
Heron Point by Pete Dye
This is our favorite golf course on this island. More forgiving than Harbour Town or Atlantic Dunes, but still challenging. Well maintained and beautiful holes. | $$$
Hilton Head National Golf Club
Off-island golf course that is worth the trip and offers exceptional value for money. There are no houses on the course, allowing players to fully enjoy the wildlife and lush forest scenery. | $$
Oyster Reef Golf Club
Another local favorite. More forgiving than some of the other courses in a fun layout surrounded by beautiful lagoons, lush vegetation and scenic views. | $$
Sea Pines Racquet Club
Sea Pines is known for its world-class tennis facilities. The resort offers numerous championship level clay and hard courts. There's also multiple pickleball courts. Call in advance to reserve your spot.
The Salty Dog Cafe
The Salty Dog is a quintessential outdoor bar on Hilton Head. Enjoy a cold beer while you enjoy the live music and views of the South Beach Marina. Make sure to buy a t-shirt when you go.
Charlie's L'Etoile Verte
One of our favorite restaurants on the island. Upscale vibe with great seafood from a menu that changes daily. We like the blackened redfish a lot. | $$$
Hudson's Seafood House On The Docks
Another favorite restaurant of ours. Fresh seafood served straight off the boat, along with delicious hush puppies. Sit outside if you can and make sure to try the local shrimp. No reservations | $$
A Lowcountry Backyard Restaurant
Enjoy Southern cuisine classics like shrimp and grits in a relaxed, outdoor patio setting with live music.
Southern Coney And Breakfast
Enjoy a classic, diner-style breakfast at our favorite breakfast spot on the island. Known for their pancakes.
Nectar Farm Kitchen
Farm-to-table restaurant with Southern brunch food.
Fishing
There are several companies that offer in- and off-shore fishing charters. If you're looking for something more laid back, you can always throw out a line in one of the many lagoons in Sea Pines. Just make sure to watch out for alligators. Please note that you must purchase a fishing license.
