We were classmates back in college, but did not really interact with each other during classes. Not until we were invited to a gathering where we happened to bump to each other and talk. We clicked so easily it felt like we’ve known each other for a long time, we were pretty much comfortable that we both knew that this is the start of something for the both of us. Fate surely moves its way on us, September 1, 2014, the day we made it official.

On the 7th year of our relationship, we went to one of our favorite place, Boracay Island in the Philippines. I honestly thought that this trip of ours was just casual and just us relaxing, I had no clue that it will be one of our most unforgettable trip. We enjoyed our stay and even had our first scuba diving together. After dinner, we stayed for awhile in the balcony near the swimming pool with romantic lights which was a very peaceful place by the way, and he told me, “I am breaking up with you.” I was actually dumbfounded thinking if it was a joke, I started panicking in the inside and replied, “Why? We were just okay and enjoying and suddenly you wanted to break up with me?” I started crying and to my surprise he went down on knees. He said, “I am breaking up with you because you will no longer be my girlfriend but my wife. Kelly Tayor, will you marry me?” And I cried a lot, kissed him and shouted YES! And we were engaged. Anyway, we’ve been together for 9 years now and we’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you. See you in Boulder, Colorado!
