Does the room block at the Omni Homestead include a discount?

Answer

Yes, the standard rate is discounted for our wedding attendees. Be sure to use our wedding specific reservation link!

What is the dress code for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Gentlemen are welcome to wear a tuxedo, suit, or military dress uniform. Ladies are welcome to wear a formal evening gown or cocktail dress.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Wedding festivities will be held both outdoors and indoors: the ceremony on Casino Lawns 1 & 2, followed by an indoor cocktail hour and reception in the Jefferson Parlor and Crystal Ballroom. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors and hotel staff will provide directions to guests. Please consider the forecast when choosing your attire.

Can I still book a room at the Omni AFTER the room block closes on October 1st?

Answer

If you would like to book a room after October 1st, please call the hotel directly at (540) 839-1766. While the group rate may no longer apply, please mention you are with the Duggan/Kvenlog wedding and the staff will be happy to check.

Will there be transportation provided for the wedding?

Answer

We’re happy to share that all wedding events—including guest accommodations—will take place at The Omni. If you choose to stay at a nearby B&B or Airbnb, please note that formal transportation will not be provided and ride-share options like Uber are limited. If you're staying off-property, we recommend downloading GPS directions in advance, as cell service and Wi-Fi in the area can be unreliable.

Is there parking at The Omni for overnight and non-overnight guests?

Answer

Hotel guests will be charged $35 per room per night for valet parking. Valet is complimentary for non-hotel guests.
