Blush, Lilac, Champagne and a hint of Kelly Green.
In 2019, I woke up one night with a strong urge to enroll in GRE prep classes—a decision I didn’t realize would change my life. By my second week in class, on a Wednesday to be exact, a radiant lady walked in with a smile that was impossible to ignore. She sat beside me and said, “Hi.” After class, I struck up a conversation with her, and her thought process completely captivated me. From that moment, I resolved to make a conscious effort to get to know her better. As time passed, we became study partners, tackling arithmetic and algebra problems together. Even after the GRE exams, we stayed in touch, often having deep, thought-provoking conversations that felt like TED Talks. The more I got to know Kelly, the more I realized I wanted a deeper connection with her. Mid 2022, I expressed my desire to take our friendship to the next level by asking Kelly to be my girlfriend. However, her initial resistance was a setback that almost strained our friendship. Despite that, we maintained contact, and over time, our bond grew stronger. Fast forward to 2024, I decided to ask Kelly once again, this time proposing something far more significant. To my delight, she said yes, and that moment marked the beginning of a new chapter in our journey together.
