Dear family and friends,

We hope this finds you well and staying healthy during these uncertain times. We are writing to let you know we have decided to elope for our wedding celebration due to COVID-19. 

There are a lot of unknowns around the current pandemic, and the health and safety of our family, friends, and essential workers are our highest priority. Though we have been looking forward to gathering together to celebrate, we acknowledge that it is not possible to do so safely at this time. 

While we wish we could celebrate this special day with all of our friends and family, we just couldn’t wait to say ‘I do’ and make it official! But don’t worry, there will be a larger party to celebrate our wedding, once it is safe to have large gatherings.

We much appreciate your continued love and support, and while we feel it was the right decision, we hope you understand it was not easy to make.
