The Art Farm Women's Retreat had a fabulous weekend gathering for the 2017 solar eclipse, where we happened to meet.... even though we both lived in Columbus at that point. I remember seeing Kelly for the first time, it was Saturday evening at the auction and she walked in looking fine. Learned her name when she scored the winning bid on a piece of handcrafted leather art, ask her about it. After a few months of knowing each other, Kelly not only helped me move to, as she half-jokingly referred to it, f*ckin' paducah... she had to take me to the emergency room there (where everything worked out fine), she then voluntarily painted entire rooms & took care of me while I had to lie still, allow & heal. During which I said yes to a "first date". A cute story for another time. Kelly's easy-going, nature loving, buddhist approach to life make loving her a breeze, although our senses of humor are not always on the same page. Or in the same book. IYKYK. We have a button, in case one of us is too dry for the other or whoever's around. Listen for it haha. Check back here for updates & more stories as we move into summer...
