What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space and find a seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30.

What is the dress code and weather?

Answer

Cocktail-Semi Formal. Our ceremony and reception is outside so please plan accordingly.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

You do not have to give us a gift! If you would like, we have added a few items to an amazon registry that we need around our home. Otherwise, feel free to donate to our home renovation fund! Are plus ones allowed?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under age 18 on our wedding day. We would like this to be an adult only celebration.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know in the designated section of your RSVP. We want you to feel comfortable and well fed!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception, however, we do recommend bringing cash to tip the bartender if you choose to do so.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during our ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day. Feel free during the reception to snap away.

What's the best airport to use?

Answer

Sarasota Bradenton International (SRQ) is closest (20 minutes) but there is also Tampa International (TPA) and St Pete Clearwater (PIE).

Where should I park?

Answer

The Bishop Museum has parking on the street by the entrance. There is additional parking in two garages across from the museum. There is also parking by the water/marina to the north of the museum.
