Introducing the youngest member of the groomsmen, Nate shares 50% of Derek's DNA and 100% of his love for bad movies. Brothers and best friends for life, Derek and Nate have continued to support one another through thick and thin. It was Derek that first taught Nate how to hold a controller, so if somehow Nate seems to have eclipsed his skill level in any given video game, it should be chalked up to good teaching.
Miranda Pellicano

Miranda and Kelly met at her first job in Virginia and quickly evolved from coworkers to besties. After attending an annual outing to "Beer, Bourbon, BBQ" their shared love for Renaissance faires and epic Dungeons & Dragons adventures solidified their bond. Miranda's family fully embraced Kelly and Derek, treating them like part of the clan and welcoming them into their holiday gatherings as honorary Gibsons.
Caleb Kissiah

Thanks to being introduced by Miranda and Kelly, Derek and Caleb's friendship has blossomed into what is essentially a two man comedy show, and everyone has tickets whether they like it or not. Whether they're playing Magic, catching the latest movies, or hitting up local breweries, Caleb has become a constant companion and a true pal. The definition of fast friends, frankly, it’d be quicker to list the things Derek and Caleb don’t have in common.
Allie Citro

After being introduced by Miranda, Kelly and Allie bonded over many shared interests, including their love of all things spooky. This ranges from campy Halloween movies to more truly terrifying flicks like Twilight. Allie has always welcomed Derek and Kelly with the same natural warmth that lights up every room she's in, and they can't help but love her for it.
Daniel Citro

Daniel may often be at odds with Kelly and Derek during a night of “Magic the Gathering”, but don't be mistaken. They’ve forged a bond as allies on the field of battle in many “Dungeons & Dragons” campaigns. Daniel is always wiling to lend a hand to a friend in need. Known for his sense of humor and sky high constitution, if Daniel is in attendance you know the party is going to be good.
Krystal Pellicano

Kelly and Derek have grown close with Krystal over many nights taking over her dining room table with board games and Dungeon & Dragon's miniatures. From the mountains of West Virginia to the ocean floor off the coast of Florida, whatever the adventure, Krystal has always proven to be an incredibly dependable and supportive friend. Whether it's lending her SUV to help with furniture pickups, offering a helping hand in building a PC, or even babysitting Hiro, Krystal is always there.

Through nerdy conventions and renaissance faires, Matt is always game when a new adventure is proposed. Contributing encyclopedic Star Wars knowledge and impassioned sports commentary, Matt has proved himself a worthy addition to any good adventuring party or wedding party.

Sarah and Kelly met through Miranda and became fast friends through their love of fantasy romance novels, wildly optimized D&D characters, and spontaneous adventure. If you’ve gone to a Ren Faire with them, odds are you’ve looked up and realized they’ve snuck off to get more mead.
Jake Reese

Jake is Kelly’s cousin and has always been a source of comedic relief. They’ve remained close throughout her life and always have a good time together. A fellow Stoutie with a heart as full as his Steam Game library, Kelly and Derek can always count on Jake to bring the fun to any family gathering.

Melinda and Kelly met during college through their major and being in the same club. Right from the start, Melinda showed Kelly the ropes on how to navigate the adult world like a pro. Her wisdom, guidance, and constant texting have been invaluable in helping Kelly survive and thrive everyday.
Kyle Syverson

Derek and Kyle go way back, having firmly cemented themselves as the all time highest scoring QB/Reciever duo in the history of backyard football (It's true, look it up). After Kyle introduced Derek to the sport, they also spent years terrorizing the tennis tournament circuit together as doubles partners. Tailor made best buds, Kyle and Derek have been there for each other since the beginning.
Maddie Dooher

A decades-long friend of Derek, Kelly met Maddie after Derek talked her into joining them at UW-Stout. Over the course of their time as housemates, many cabin trips, and late nights on Discord, Kelly and Maddie bonded over a mutual love of videogames and movies. On their biannual journey home, Maddie is always sure to hang out with the bride and groom to make even more memories.
Logan Bethke

Shared interest in video games, paleontology, and anime are only a few of the many qualities that allowed Logan to quickly infiltrate Kelly and Derek's college friend group, as well as their hearts. A fellow dungeon master, Logan was also the man that first introduced the couple to their long time hobby of D&D, running their first ever start-to-finish campaign over a year and a half of the Pandemic.

When Kelly and Derek met Barb, a brief stint as roommates was all it took to spark a fierce friendship. Pandemic gaming brought them back together after college and since that time they've become near inseparable whenever a trip home to Minnesota is in order. Whether it's a night out on the town or a night kicking it on the couch, Barb makes every adventure a memorable one.

World famous actor best known for his role in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, Kevin is Derek and Kelly's "man in the chair", generously fielding all tech support questions and software issues. Always good for a sarcastic joke, Kev is a true friend who has single handedly dismantled the happy couple's sleep schedule with many late night gaming sessions of “Pokemon” and “Rocket League”.
Emily Lathrop

Kelly and Emily first crossed paths in high school and have remained inseparable ever since. Throughout the years Emily has stood by Kelly's side as they navigated the journey from adolescence to adulthood, even taking the time and effort to visit us out in Virginia. Thanks to a surplus of shared memories, inside jokes, and exchanging their "To Be Read" lists, their friendship has withheld the tests of both distance and time.
Collin Schulte

Placed on the same freshman floor by chance, roomates by choice. Intramural basketball games, late night homework sessions, and cross-country spring break trips are just the tip of the iceburg when it comes to the memories Collin made with Kelly and Derek. The 1600+ miles between Ashburn and Denver make it hard for them to hang out in person as often as they'd like, but when Derek was in need of a trustworthy groomsman, Collin was predictably prepared to answer the call.
