Dennis and Kelly first met in 2017 while both working for The Arc of Ocean County. Dennis was the overnight staff that was relieving Kelly from her day shift. In typical Dennis fashion, he was very quiet and reserved and Kelly was immediately drawn to this mysterious stranger. They occasionally saw each other during shift changes, when Dennis finally worked up the courage to Facebook message Kelly “Merry Christmas”’ on Christmas night. From that message came a slew of other messages that eventually led to their first date on January 19th, 2018 at Mellow Mushroom. Two weeks later on February 2nd, 2018, Dennis brought Kelly to Smithville, NJ where he asked her to be his girlfriend. On August 31, 2020, Dennis got down on one knee on the beach in Corolla, Outer Banks, NC and asked her to be his wife. The best is yet to come...
