We're Getting Married!

In the Fall of 2021, Kelly joined a competitive karaoke league in Los Angeles. In the Summer of 2022, David would be introduced to the same karaoke league, though not able to fully join, he would participate in the off-season shenanigans. It was August 2022 where Kelly and David met for the first time and were paired up as a team of two. And so began their acquaintanceship. It wouldn't be until March of 2023 that being friends within a small community would lead to more. The karaoke league has a huge group chat on an app called Discord, where they discuss all things related to the karaoke league but also other topics like movie and TV recommendations, music they like, or just general nonsense. This led to Kelly and David having private discussions about music and movies, especially Mel Brooks films. Then they were talking about themselves and their lives. It wasn't long before they realized they were chatting all day, everyday. After the Spring 2023 Karaoke season ended on March 29th, Kelly and David had their first date on April 1st- No Joke- and watched Mel Brooks movies.
