What should we do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

There will be about a 3 hour break between the ceremony and the reception. We recommend enjoying downtown Annapolis—whether it’s relaxing by the water, visiting a café or restaurant, or exploring local sites. Check out our Things to Do page for ideas!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly request formal attire. Guests may wear floor-length gowns or elegant cocktail dresses. Suits and ties are appropriate; tuxedos are welcome but not required.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors and the reception will have cocktail hour outside on the porch of the yacht club and indoors for dinner

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

We recommend that guests plan to arrive 15-30 minutes before the ceremony

What airports are closest to the venue?

Answer

BWI is the closest airport, though Dulles and Reagan National airports in Washington, DC are also convenient options.

Where should we stay?

Answer

Two room blocks are available for guests to book accommodations. If you prefer, there are also other hotels in the area and a variety of house rentals on Airbnb and VRBO.

Is parking available?

Answer

There is a parking lot at the church, but this can only be used during the ceremony. There are multiple public parking garages in downtown Annapolis. The closest one to the church and the reception is Hillman Garage - located at 150 Gorman St, Annapolis, MD 21401.
