How to write this?! We all know Chris is not worried about the wedding website so I'll explain! We both went to the same secondary school and we had many nights out together courtesy of the Devels Football Club and the infamous Evans Bonfire Parties! I actually knew Chris as 'Baby Bee' and it felt very strange to call him Chris when we first started chatting...'I'm not known as Baby Bee anymore'...! It was while I was living in Camberley that we started to bump into each other on Friday nights - thanks Surrey Arms! And it wasn't until one Friday night, when Chris said he was in Farnham with work friends but then turned up in Camberley - he definitely was missing me! And I was so self conscious and thought 'I haven't made any effort!'...that made me realise there's something more here! Chris subjected me to many horror films - not my genre at all, but an excuse to cuddle close to him! And we had had a few dates but it was that awkward point of not wanting to ask 'are we boyfriend and girlfriend' !? Chris and his house mates had a New Year's Eve party to see in 2015 and it was at this party that a friend of Chris's introduced me to her boyfriend as 'Chris's girlfriend'...we both looked at each other and was like oh OK it's official then! We now class New Year's Eve as our anniversary! Fast forward almost 7 years and we've explored Morocco, Rome, Tuscany, Belgium, Berlin, Sydney, Croatia, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Wales and Devon together. We've brought two houses. Most importantly we've had two beautiful babies, who are our world. And Chris finally proposed on our 5th anniversary, making 2020 start with a bang! Covid may have delayed us by a year but we cannot wait to become husband and wife and share the start of our next chapter with our friends and family! Croatia is special in our hearts and we know you are going to fall in love with it just as much as we are! #samesurnameday
