Not just for kids! Brian and I had so much fun going here. Buy the bread there and save some for the very end.

Olympic Game Farm

Fun short trails to the water. Tide pools full of activity. Go at low tide to be able to walk around more along the little coves.

Salt Creek Recreation Area

1.5 - 2 hour drive from Port Angeles. Great short, easy hikes through the Rainforest. Absolutely amazing!

Hoh Rainforest - Olympic National Park

1.5 - 2 hour drive from Port Angeles out to Neah Bay. Great trail out to the tip of the peninsula where the Straight of Juan de Fuca meets the Pacific Ocean. Breathtaking views and a beautiful trail. Check if it is open before going.

Cape Flattery Trail

Fun hike through the woods that comes out onto a beach. Great place to pack a lunch and hang out for a while.

Lyre Conservation Area

Park anywhere along the hook and go for a walk along the water. Views of the Olympic Mountains on one side and Victoria, BC on the other.

Ediz Hook

Drive to Sequim (20 minutes east) and visit the Dungeness Spit Wildlife refuge. Take a walk along the spit and enjoy the birds and scenery.

Dungeness Spit

Bring your passport and take the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria, BC. Spend the night or just explore for the day. Have afternoon tea at the Empress. Walk through the old English gardens and streets of downtown.
