Sometimes, God works in ways we don’t expect. Blake and I met through a dating app—proof that even technology can be a tool in His plan. It was March 16, 2020, and while the world around us seemed uncertain, there was something unmistakably clear in the connection we shared. From the very first conversation, we felt a sense of peace, as though we had been meant to cross paths all along. We quickly became inseparable. It was easy to talk, laugh, and share our hearts. But like any good story, ours had its twists and turns. Life took us in different directions for a while, and we spent some time apart. But during that time, we both came to realize something: the bond we shared wasn’t just a fleeting moment; it was God’s handiwork in our lives. And when the time was right, He brought us back together, stronger than before. As we look back on those years, we see God's faithfulness in every part of our journey. We’ve learned that love isn’t just about timing—it’s about trusting in His plan and knowing that He will bring us through the highs and lows. As Scripture says in Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” We know that God brought us together for a purpose, and we are excited to continue walking this path side by side. When we came back together, there was no hesitation. We knew exactly what we wanted: a life built on love, trust, and faith in God. We’ve learned that true love isn’t just a feeling—it’s a commitment, a choice, and a constant reminder of God’s grace. We’ve found that in each other, and we’re incredibly grateful. We are thankful for the ways God has worked in our lives to bring us to this point, and we are excited to honor Him as we make this lifelong commitment to one another. We believe that marriage is a gift from God, and we’re ready to build a foundation of faith together as we begin this next chapter. As you know, we’re keeping this wedding small and intimate, but we want to thank each of you for the role you’ve played in our story.
