The Short North is by far where we go on the majority of our dates. The best restaurants in Columbus are located on this strip, as well as shops, art galleries and so much more. Perfect for a day or night activity! And with all the outdoor murals, sculptures, and unique architecture, you will not run out of photo ops.
Located in German Village, this is probably the coolest book store you'll ever step foot in. The pre-civil war era building used to house a variety of tenants (a saloon and a nickelodeon cinema to name a few), and now is home to 32 rooms chock full of books! Blake and I love this place, evidenced by the photo at the top! If you stop by, definitely pop into Stauf's Coffee Roasters next door!
What's a trip to Columbus without taking a trip to the 3rd largest school in the Nation, THE Ohio State University!? The Oval, the Union, and Thompson Library are staple spots. Check out the Fisher Quad where Kelly spent a lot of her time or Hayes Hall where Blake pulled many an all nighter.
By far the best shopping destination in Ohio, Easton really has almost anything you can ask for! From typical mall stores to more boutique retailers you can only find in big cities like NYC and LA, Easton has you covered for all your bad shopping habits. Kelly can definitely attest.
