Kelly had just traveled to Denver for work and Beck was busy building the Denver Putt Shack. The two met at a Rockies game and sat in the rain while getting to know each other and somehow it wasn't scary or awkward. Beck told Kelly about the time a 13 year old girl submitted him in Jiu Jitsu and Kelly told Beck all about her recent fight with altitude sickness while hiking in Great Basin National Park. Somehow the whole living in a RV and traveling around the country didn't scare Beck and Kelly loved that Beck also traveled for work. Their second date was a concert at Red Rocks where they listened to Shane Smith and the Saints but sadly had to leave before the last song (Kelly's favorite song) due to Beck having to get back to work. They met for pizza in Golden where Beck had ordered an enormous pizza but hadn't told Kelly so she ordered her own pizza which resulted in entirely too much pizza (even for Beck) and a story they still laugh about. Eventually Beck was invited to the RV and met Frankie and Gus and subsequently had an allergic reaction and had to stop and buy all new clothes from Walmart the next day. But not even a dog allergy could stop their love from blossoming and now Frankie sleeps right next to him every night. They spent the next two years dating long distance, traveling every weekend to spend time with each other wherever they were. Beck, understanding that Kelly was a passionate world traveler, soon got his passport and the couple traveled to the British Virgin Islands, Peru, French Polynesia, South Africa and Greece together. After two and a half years of long distance dating, Beck planned an epic proposal while they were in Greece after spending the day sailing a catamaran around the island of Santorini. Now they are getting married in the dreamy Redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains surrounded by their most beloved family and friends.
