We met through our mutual friends (bridesmaid Natasha and Groomsmen Eldar) who were going to school at Moravian College in Bethlehem PA. A few girls and I decided to go out to a club for the night while I was visiting Natasha at her campus for the weekend. When we wanted to leave to go somewhere else, Natasha called Eldar to pick us up and he arrived in the passenger seat with Alex as the driver. They picked us up to go and the rest as they say is history!

Alex proposed to me on the beach in Spring Lake NJ at sunset. It was absolutely wonderful. We had just finished a day of bike riding in Point Pleasant, lunch along the water at the Shrimp Box, and went back to our campsite in Allaire (where we were staying). Alex knew how much I wanted to take pictures at sunset on the beach at some point during our trip and he decided on that night to do it. I was just going to stay in my clothes I had on all day but he convinced me to change into a dress for the pictures together. After taking a few pictures and some selfies, I started walking towards the steps off the sand. That is when I turned around to Alex down on his knee. I was so shocked (for those that know I was waiting many years for this) LOL! After calling our families with the news we ended the night stopping for ice cream at the cutest little shop in Belmar.
