Once home to Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh, Notley Abbey is an utterly unique country house situated on the border of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. It has a truly magical past – if its majestic medieval walls could talk they would tell of a millennium of the decadent celebrations of not only Hollywood royalty, but royalty itself.
Notley Abbey is an hour’s drive from West London, making it a very convenient and accessible location for people coming from the London area.
From London, take the M40 north in the direction of Oxford and come off at Junction 7. Turn right at the top of the slip road, follow signs to Aylesbury until you come through Thame. After Thame, continue on the Aylesbury Road (A418) until you see the wedding venue entrance on your left hand side.

Our Ceremony and Reception
2:00 pm - 11:30 pm
Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors on grass and pavement. Wedding breakfast/reception will take place indoors.
